Zong becomes the 1st Telecom Operator to test 5G Network

On August 23, 2019, we confirmed the news that Zong has become the first proud telecom operator in Pakistan to test the 5G network.

It is worth mentioning that Zong was the 1st 4G network in Pakistan as well. In 2014, they were the first to test and purchase the official 4G network license.

Indeed its a huge a achievement for Pakistan. However, its too early to talk about the launch timelines right now.

Though 5G network license in Pakistan hasn’t been auctioned yet but still, Zong always struggles to lead telecom operators with new technology. This makes people are quite happy to hear this news as this will take Pakistan to another level of network speed.
