Cellphones are objects that are used by some people every day. With cellphones, they can communicate, surf in cyberspace, play games, record photos or videos, and others.

Because of continuous use, there is a possibility that someone will be addicted to playing gadgets.

In the latest study, researchers used an MRI machine and found that those classified as mobile addicted turned out to have a physically altered brain similar to what doctors see drug addicts.

This test was carried out on 48 people, 22 of whom were categorized as having a smartphone addiction, reported by Ubergizmo .

“Given its widespread use and increasing popularity, this study questions smartphone irregularities, at least in individuals who may be at higher risk of developing addictive behaviors related to smartphones,” said researchers from Heidelberg University.

Smartphone addiction is not new and has never happened before. Companies like Apple and Google have introduced features on their phones and operating systems that are intended to help reduce device usage time.
